From Jami: I first fell in love with quilting almost 2 years ago. I was invited to a beginner quilting class and really just went to get to know women at our new church. Within just 1 session, I was hooked. Quilting is such a great way to learn how to use your sewing machine and create wonderful works of practical art for your family. This beginner's quilt pattern is a perfect one to jump in and try! I would like to do a quilt-a-long in January with this pattern, so stay tuned for news if you want to participate!Â
Joyful Stars is a fun and modern star quilt that works well with solids, prints, or scraps. No tricky piecing makes this a great beginner quilt pattern.
Pattern includes instructions for an ombre rainbow version, as seen on the cover, and a scrappy version. Pattern includes helpful diagrams, detailed instructions, and a Color-Your-Own page to help you decide your fabric choices.
Sizes: Baby (49″ x 49″), Throw (66″ x 66″), Twin (68″ x 99″), and Queen/King (114″ x 114″).
Skill Level: Beginner. The pattern assumes the quilter knows basic piecing and quilting techniques.
Format: Professionally printed, saddle-stitched A5 (5.5" x 8.5") booklets, and come in a clear hanging bag.
