Hi, we’re Jason and Jami Balmet — a husband and wife team passionate about serving families with gospel-centered resources for every season of life.

We’re raising our little tribe of eight children (yes, eight!), all twelve and under — including two sets of twin boys! Life is loud, joy-filled, and often a little messy around here, but raising this crew is the greatest blessing of our lives. Every day, we’re learning to cling to Christ in the middle of the chaos and joy of family life, seeking to build a home that brings glory to God.

Jason now runs our family bookstore and The Joyful Home App full time. We’ve been so humbled by how God has grown this work — from a small blog to a full library of books, audiobooks, courses, podcasts, and family tools used by tens of thousands around the world.

Our shared passion is writing and publishing resources that equip the whole family — from homemaking help to theology guides to adventurous read-alouds for kids. Jami pours her heart into writing and developing beautiful, practical cookbooks that inspire families to gather around the table with joy. From sourdough bread to pantry staples to everyday meals rooted in hospitality, her cookbooks are all about finding delight and purpose in the kitchen — without the overwhelm.

Jason loves diving into storytelling and adventure. He’s the author behind the Sterling Spectacles series — fun, family-filled novels that follow a time-traveling family exploring America’s National Parks. His passion is crafting stories that not only entertain but spark curiosity, courage, and a love for truth.
